    Michael Vick
    Michael Vick is the quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League. The 2010 season was the most prolific of his career, earning him a start in the Pro Bowl and cementing his comeback in football. Prior to spending the last two seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles, Michael played for the Atlanta Falcons from 2001-2006, the team that originally chose him with the first overall pick in the 2001 NFL Draft.

    Charles Chandler
    Charles Chandler is an award-winning reporter and former Pro Football Hall of Fame selection committee member who covered the Carolina Panthers and the NFL for The Charlotte Observer from the team's inception in 1993 until the summer of 2010. In addition to daily coverage, Charles also worked on enterprise and investigative projects, providing ground-breaking coverage of a player lawsuit, players' medical rights issues, a steroids scandal, and the plight of retired NFL players who were attempting to gain better benefits. In between stints at The Charlotte Observer, Charles worked for The National Sports Daily. He has been named North Carolina sportswriter of the year three times and has received national writing awards from the Associated Press Sports Editors and the Pro Football Writers Association. Two of his enterprise projects were nominated for Pulitzer Prize consideration. He has written two other books, co-authoring Year of the Cat (1997, Simon & Schuster), which chronicled the Panthers' dramatic playoff run in only their second season; and authoring Quotable Petty (2002, Towlehouse Publishing), a collection of stirring quotations by NASCAR racing great Richard Petty.
